Every time I see one of these I’m reminded of the scene in the movie True Lies when his daughter is picked up by her high school boyfriend on a ZX7. Of course this is the ZX7-R which also includes FCR carbs, aluminum gas tank, a fiberglass tail section, close ratio six speed transmission, and slipper clutch. This particular example has covered more than 15k miles but shows amazingly well with only light patina. The buy-it-now is set at a very reasonable $6700.

1992 Kawasaki ZX7-R for sale on eBay
from the seller:
This listing is for a rare, hard to find, low mileage 1992 ZX7-R. It is LIME GREEN and is in excellent condition. I am the 3rd owner and it only has just under 16k original miles. Everything on the bike is original with the exception of the aftermarket shock, rear sets and muzzy exhaust. All paint is original and in very GOOD condition. As you can tell from the pictures, it has a great shine. Everything on the bike is working. Brand new power 3, tires and brand new gold DID chain.
Looks like it sold for the BIN.
I had a feeling that was going to sell quickly. Thanks for the heads up,
dc
Friendly FYI: All ZX7s and ZX7Rs had slipper clutches 😉
Chandler, Russel – the golden age for Kawasaki. Nice!
This same bike from the same seller bid up to $6950 last October, but it did not meet the reserve. I guess he was ready to sell it this time. Sold in about 5 hours.
This was my bike about 2 years ago. I spent alot of money to make it right. It ran strong and sounded awesome with the Muzzy pipe. I should of kept it.
