Advertised as original owner and garage kept for 44 years, this is a stunning MK1 Lemans — it looks restored but has somehow covered nearly 30k miles. While there are other iterations that came later with incremental improvements, the early MK1 with the round headlight is the best looking and archetypal for collectors.

That certainly is one of the cleanest Le Mans I’ve seen- beautiful!
Thanks for posting this beautiful bike. As someone who remembers when these were brand new I am surprised at the lack of reply’s to this post, if this was a two stroke 250 or a RC30 there would be plenty of replies. However it just goes to show not everyone else loves these as much as I do .
This is one of the finest Moto Guzzi Le Mans I’ve seen for sale. It has very sensible upgrades which can only improve it for the auction winner. I would definitely bid on this but I have one in my garage.
Yes these are great classics to actually ride and enjoy. Parts are readily available, they’re pretty reliable (tractor technology!), have enough motor and handle really well. I’m surprised these haven’t risen in value similar to vintage Ducatis but maybe the fact that Guzzi is now the ‘heritage’ brand for Piaggio and no longer a sporting brand (don’t want to pull market share from Aprilia) is holding values of these classic sporting Guzzis down.
This example looks really, really nice. I’d also be a bidder if I didn’t already have one in my garage.
eBay shows sold for $16,900.00 Congratulations to buyer and seller! -dc
