Seller
1992 Yamaha YZF750R Canadian model, currently not running as the carburetors have been removed and need cleaning, otherwise is in great condition, asking $2000, reasonable offers considered.

We don’t normally post bikes that are not running, but I’m thinking there is a reader out there looking for this bike and willing to do a little work. It looks clean enough to make a phone call and perhaps show up with a trailer.
Limited information is available on this bike. The question is: is this a YZF or an FZR for the 1992 model?
Please share your knowledge and help this bike find the right owner.

It is a YZF. The OP is correct it is a Canadian model as they had the bike one year prior to the US getting it in 1993.
Here is the article from Cycleworld.

YZF750 Canadian Model. This was a year before it was released here.
The seller has cancelled the listing. The link is dead.
@JR – according to Mitchell on our FB group, “Tried to see it this afternoon at 2:30. Already sold…. Stuff moves so fast these days. Basically gotta be sitting with cash in hand and the truck running.”
@John D – thanks for the link! When I (LL) was researching this, I read this but did not see 1992 mentioned, which was when I started to wonder. All the comments here and of FB have been a great resource.
Was indeed a rare sportbike….incredible price.
Nice bike, always wanted one, almost grabbed a ’95 with the Ohlins bits some years ago.
