This seller has impressed us all year with the incredible selection of rare, Italian offerings. Today this Bimota KB2 is listed on eBay and available for shipping from Italy. Mike wrote a great post on KB2’s a few years back that does an excellent job of describing the background on these bikes. This example is showing over 25k miles but looks really sharp and mostly period correct.

1983 Bimota KB2 Laser TT for sale on eBay
from the seller:
Bimota KB2 550/600 Laser TT
model year 1983
VIN 00090 (only 177 KB2 were built and only 62 were TT)
This is the state of art frame from genius Tamburini and declared by him his favourite. It is definitely one of the 3 most desiderable Bimota models ever and one of the rarier. This specific bike is fitted with full race kit as pistons, racing cammeshaft and Mikuni flat carns but also present unique Factory specifications being Factory upgraded in the 80’s with M1R Marzocchi/Bimota forks, Brembo 4pots calipers matched to 320mm discs and 17″ Bimota wheels. Recently added with a one off very expensive top quality complete racing exhaust system. The bike is in top conditions, just fully serviced with new tyres, oils and battery. German registration documents.
How hard is a transfer from Italy to the US for title?
Ok folks, what is that metal shot glass looking thing of the back of the cowl above the tail light?
Awesome bike, love early tuber Bimotas.
Fart vent…leads to that hole in the seat.
This guy has a lot of cool stuff.
Amazing bike. Black wheels, polished forks and stubby exhaust transform the look (compared that other KB2 posted in 2011) in I think a subtle but positive way. The rear turn signals are so clean too!
Looks like it could be a camera mount (ram).
No sale at $16,099.
