Our latest Featured Listing is from DucPond Motorsports with this incredible 1995 Ducati 900SS/SP. The list of exotic and hard to find parts upgrades on this one are going to make other SS/SP owners drool with jealousy (I know I am!)
1995 Ducati 900 SS/SP For Sale at DucPond Motorsports
from the sellers:
This bike started life as an already amazing 900SS/SP, but then we got our hands on it and turned it into something really really special. For starters the engine was bumped up to a 944cc displacement with Pistal pistons, ST2 cams were installed, 41mm Keihin flatslide carbs were bolted on, the heads were WORKED and dual plugged, MBP collets were installed, MBP large tulip valves were installed.. a lightweight flywheel was installed, and to let it all breathe and sound proper, a full Temignoni Spaghetti system was installed. (Try finding one of those now.. open up your wallet and wait!) Chassis wise, Ohlins R&T forks for the 900SS/SP (extremely rare units)were installed, an Ohlins R&T shock was installed, an Ohlins steering damper was installed, the wheels were swapped out for Machesini magnesium units, the rotors were upgraded to Ferodo cast iron units, Brembo radial mount calipers replaced the stockers, Brembo radial clutch and brake levers were installed, Ducati Performance rear sets were installed, a solo tail section with Corbin seat was added, and a zero gravity double bubble screen was added to let you tuck in from the wind. Everyone thinks that their bike really has the best of the best, but this one really does.. It is covered with unobtanium parts. An amazing aircooled Ducati machine!
Ohlins, magnesium Marchesini’s, full spaghetti Termi system?! This reads more like the parts list of one of Ducati’s factory “R” bikes than it does a Supersport! Priced at $8495 it’s going to take some time to find the right enthusiast buyer, but it would be impossible to duplicate this build at that price.
