Totally 80s
The RZ350 was sold until 1985 in the US. This model was sold in Canada until 1990. It was part of Yamaha’s “RZ” series, which had its roots in Yamaha’s successful racing bikes. The RZ was the final evolution of the Yamaha RD series.
Possibly the most popular 2 stroke motorcycle ever made, this full faring model was not available in the US. That combined with tightening emissions regulations and overall scarcity, this checks the rare box.

If only it had California registration . . .
I remember when here in Canuckistan you could pick these up for next to nothing. I also remember Gary Goodfellow showing me the wheel(s) on one of these BITD. Great bikes.
This bike does have California registration and it’s road legal.

“Fresh oil change and filter.”
????
Something smells with this. The transmission is the only oil that needs changing and it does not have a filter. It’s not “pristine”, I can see some marks on the pipes and fairing. The front signals are not stock. This price makes my NS 400R and all of the spares that I have worth $25K+
Why does the link go to a motorcycle rental site?
@JR Good question!
