1989 Honda NSR250R MC18 Sold With Bill-Of-Sale Only

This looks to be a decent NSR250R but isn’t titled or registered in the U.S.  Located in San Diego, California is a 1989 Honda NSR250R.  The seller states that this bike has a fresh top end, rebuilt carbs, refinished tank and the oil injection system still functions.  Sadly, no matter how well prepared this bike is in street trim, this bike doesn’t have a U.S. title and therefore is a track only bike or a project for that special someone.  The ’89 models were the first to feature the new generation of PGM-II CDI that mapped the ignition system in 3-D and was very closely related to RS250 technology of the time.  If you like projects or need a very cool track bike, see this MC18 on Craigslist here.

Moriwaki MD250H single cylinder race bike for sale

Brand new limited production Moriwaki MD250H single cylinder race bike for sale on ebay.

Now we’ve seen our share of special bikes for sale here around RSBFS, but thanks to a tip off from our reader Mike, here’s a truly unique oppourtunity – :

This is a New Honda Moriwaki being offered for sale at our Honda Powerstore. This is a Limited Production Full Race Ready Motorcycle. Being a Race Bike, this bike cannot be financed by conventional means, so you will have to have your financing or cash ready. We can paint this bike any color that you want, at an additional cost.

Last year, American Honda and Moriwaki Engineering had announced the availability of a limited number of MD250H racebikes. The bike was meant for young racers who wanted to take part in the USGPRU roadracing series.

An exquisite piece of engineering, the Mroiwaki MD250H is fitted with a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder 249cc engine from Honda. Also used in the Honda CRF250X, this engine is specially tuned and fettled by Moriwaki, for the MD250H.

The MD250H is a serious bit of equipment, a proper small-bore GP bike. Custom fabricated twin-spar aluminum chassis, radial-mount calipers for the front disc brake, USD fork, Honda’s Pro-Link rear suspension, lightweight wheels, race-spec tyres and works-style welded aluminum fuel tank – the MD250H is pure racer all the way.

Who’s Moriwaki? They are the legendary Japanese tuning firm which is to Honda what Yoshimura is to Suzuki, and probably best know for its Honda V5-powered MD211VF MotoGP bike which campaigned in 2004.  For more info on the MD250H and the related race series, click HERE and HERE.

The power output of the CRF250X lump won’t win any drag races, but housed in the tiny 125 GP size chassis, the whole package makes for a super light bike with brilliant handling and decent power to weight ratio – not to mention cheaper running costs then a highly strung 2 stroke engine.  I bet this thing would be more fun around the track than wringing the neck off a 600cc super sport!

Would you like to ride the same bike as your hero?

Located in Northern California are three AMA superbikes.  See description below:

3 Yoshimura Suzuki AMA superbikes

Please be aware that two of the three have all of the data logging, traction control, and race instrument clusters removed. This drops the price considerably. Due to the current AMA roadracing rules, Yoshimura Suzuki bought these bikes from a dealership before converting them to race bikes. So they have proper VIN, registration, and titles! So in essence, one could convert these 200+ HP Superbikes into streetbikes if they wanted.

The last bike listed is Mat Mladin’s race bike, as is, with all the insane factory race bits still on the bike. As a matter of fact, the tires are still the same ones still on this bike as last raced.

Due to the new homologation rules of the AMA Superbike series, Yoshimura Suzuki started out the 2009 season using 2008 bikes. So though these are ’08 models, they were only built back at the beginning of this year, just in time to start the 2009 race season. This is the real deal. Factory spec full on superbikes.

What would could be cooler than showing up to Alice’s on a Desmo?  Mat Mladin’s bike would have to be right up there.

1994 Honda RVF400R NC35

Located in Massachusetts is a track prepared 1994 Honda RVF400R NC35.  The bike has no title and is far from street legal with supposedly $10k invested in it.  This NC35 looks like it needs to be gone through before it hits the track again, the seller doesn’t mention the last time it was run but mentions that it only has 5300km–the odometer shows 14532km.  This would be quite a capable track bike once cleaned up and gone through.  See the eBay ad here.

1993 Suzuki RG R Gamma 125 $1475

Located in San Diego, California is a Suzuki 125 RG R track bike for only $1475. The ad states this bike has inverted forks, big brakes, and seventeen inch wheels making it a capable track day machine. The ad does state that it probably needs to be gone through as the bike has been sitting–something that should normally be done if taking a bike to the track anyway. At just under fifteen-hundred dollars, how could you not consider this for a track toy? Thanks for the heads up Victor! See the San Diego Craigslist ad here.

Edit: I noticed that this bike has been advertised several times at different prices;  5/26 for $1350 and 5/24 for $1775, this in addition to the $1475 ad I posted.  I have no idea why sellers raise the price when something won’t sell, at least delete the  old ad to hide the evidence!  Just something to be aware–and cautious–of.
