2004 Aprilia RSV 1000R NERA #22 of 200

2004 Aprilia RSV 1000R NERA

This may be one of the most understated limited production bikes I’ve ever seen.  You’d have to have a really good eye to see this thing roll by and know what you just saw.  The Nera was not aimed at the race replica crowd.  This bike oozes Italian sophistication. The Nera was the first in Aprilia’s “Dream Series” of bikes (I chuckled too) with a production run of 200 bikes. Chuckling aside, you got a bike with some really nice bits: carbon fiber bodywork, magnesium and titanium sprinkled throughout (including nuts and bolts), a HP bump and a set of forged magnesium wheels: nice!  It all added up to a bike that was lighter and more powerful than the standard RSV, not to mention exclusive.  This one includes a couple of extras and obviously rarely hit the street.

From the seller:

This is a One-Of-A-Kind, extremely rare Nera Super Sport Bike for sale. Garage kept, rarely ridden, maintained as a collector’s item. No scratches, dings, or dents of any kind. Starts right up and runs as good as the day it was purchased. Carbon Fiber everywhere! Comes with two gas tanks – one carbon fiber and one standard. The standard is currently installed on the bike. Also two sets of exhaust – one original and one racing. The racing is currently installed on the bike. Original owner, clear title, and all original paperwork. This is bike 22 out of only 200 made!! Belongs as a collector’s item too rare to ride, but you can if yer want to 😉

It’s too bad that the pictures just don’t do this bike justice.  They can’t pick up that nice carbon weave in the bodywork that makes me all sweaty and wish I had gone to medical school to afford this bike.  Which brings me to price. If you gotta have it now, the seller has a pretty high price but he also listed the reserve which looks to be  right in line with book value.  Warm up the cappuccino machine and go place a bid!

2003 Aprilia RSV 1000 Mille R Nori Haga #124 Of 300

This is a one owner Haga replica with only 362 miles!  Located in Fowlerville, Michigan is a 2003 Aprilia RSV Mille R Nori Haga replica.  This one has been posted for a couple days but I was waiting for the seller to post pictures to share it with you all.  Only 300 of these were produced worldwide with 60 coming to America.  These replicas came with not only the WSB Haga replica scheme but also:  Blue Ergal tripple clamp with Haga’s signature, production number, and WSB text, Akrapovic titanium exhaust with SS collectors and EPROM map, ten additional hp, 6.6lb weight loss (with Akrapovic system fitted) and all the standard features of the Mille R variant.  This bike comes with the standard exhaust and the Akrapovic system.  The seller doesn’t state much other than the bike is in flawless condition and has always been kept in a heated garage.  The pictures seem to easily agree with this claim.  The asking price appears to be all of $16,500.  If this Haga replica has you jonesing, see the bike on the ApriliaForum.com here.

2008 Aprilia RSV Factory w/1060 engine built by AMA’s KWS Motorsports

Awhile back, we posted race bikes offered by KWS (3 – 2009 Aprilia RSV1000R Factory race bikes for sale!) but some of you might be looking for something you can use for the street. Well, here is your answer: 2008 KWS RSV1060R Factory for $13,498.

This Aprilia is brand new but KWS went ahead and installed a new big-bore 1060 engine. Don’t let the 145 HP fool you, this is not the over-inflated number you would typically see on a bike night dyno. Chip from KWS says “It would not have been fair to let us run that motor [in the AMA Pro Daytona SportBike Series]. Our race motors made almost his much power with stock bore…..with another 10hp and our chassis it would have been a slaughter.”

KWS CNC Pro Heads
KWS Web Cam Camsafts
LeoVince Full System
PowerCommander PCIIIUSB
K&N Air Filter

Considering all you would be getting for less than the MSRP of a base RSV, you should not overlook this one.

2004 Aprilia Mille RSV Factory R

I know this isn’t exactly ultra rare, but with only 490 miles and nearly a $20,000.00 MSRP for only $8,500.00 buy-it-now I just had to post it up.

The RSV R’s don”t get much talk due to that other Italian Motorcycle company, but they make a fine piece of exotica.  The RSV R’s have Ohlin’s, OZ wheels, Brembo brakes and all carbon fiber body work and that is a lot of high end material for what is basically a brand new bike.  The bike has a story and the seller explains….

I purchased this bike new in 2005 for $16,000 and was injured in a car accident not long after, so the bike has been in storage (started, tested and ridden by a friend from time to time) ever since.  So this bike is basically in new condition with less than 500 miles on the odometer. It’s never been abused, dropped and is absolutely perfect in every way.

This is a great looking Italian V-Twin, with super high end components and is cheap, cheap!

2003 Aprilia RSV Mille R Colin Edwards Replica

Located in Massachusetts is a 2003 Aprilia RSV Mille R Colin Edwards Replica, one of 461 worldwide. If you’re looking for a modern Italian V-twin, this bike may be up your alley. This bike differs from a standard Mille R by having a “…SBK Superbike exhaust system designed jointly by Akrapovic and Aprilia Racing…57mm throttle body kit, carbon-fiber racing airbox…and carbon fiber bodywork.” A neat Mille and something different if you’re looking for something Italian but don’t want a run of the mill Duc. The only disadvantage of buying this bike used? Not being able to partake in the original track day with Mr. Edwards himself that the bike would have originally come with. The bike has been used and is showing 12,679 miles, but with the auction starting at $1.00, the market will decide how that mileage effects this bikes value. See the Motorcyclist Magazine review here. See the eBay ad here.

See one with 323 original miles located in Orange County, California here. (06/29)

EDIT: Sold for $8,200 with 24 bids on 06/20/09.
