1995 Aprilia RS250

Located in Los Angeles, California is a titled 1995 Aprilia RS250 with 6,755kms or 4,197 miles.  Bike is currently registered Non-Op in California which is used to prevent the build up of registration fees if a bike isn’t being used, this bike should be easy to register once transferred to a new owner but as always, check first.  The asking price of $7000 sounds fair based on recent ads.  See the Craigslist ad here.

Located in Trenton, Michigan is a supposedly official Aprilia import 1995 Aprilia RS250.  The seller claims that this was brought into the U.S. by Aprilia and isn’t a converted cup bike–very neat if true.  Showing only 2476 miles (Original MPH speedometer?) this bike looks very clean from the small but numerous pictures.  The opening bid is $8,500, which I expect to be market correct– once the history and condition have been verified. If you’re looking for a plated RS250 with some slight modifications, this one is worth investigating.  See and bid on the eBay ad here

1994 Honda RS125

Now if you saw our last post for a pristine RS125, but wanted something you could seriously ride for track days or race, we have a perfect example in Alpharetta, Georgia.  This Honda RS125 is the perfect example of a serious race bike: not the prettiest thing, but gets the job done.  A RS125 would be a blast on the track and this example would be a perfect way to get there with a little work.  See the eBay ad here.

EDIT: Sold for $2,600.00 on 06/14/2009.

1991 Honda RS125

Located in Augusta, Georgia is a beautiful example of a Honda RS125.  This 125 series is what many fledgling GP stars, GP hopefuls, and weekend warriors enjoy because of it’s focus on bike control over brute power.  This example has been nicely restored and presents well.  The description of pearl paints and polished pieces would normally be off putting but this RS125 looks incredible.  The seller claims the bike has been a home art piece (with pictures to prove it) since 2006 and it is very believable.  If you were actually wanting to run this bike (which I hope you would) for track days–or race it– it would need a going over and possible tune up, but would be one of the best examples once done.  If you’d like to bid on it, see the eBay ad here.

EDIT: Did not meet reserve at $3,051.00 on 6/16/09.
