1988 Honda VFR750R RC30

Located in New York, New York is a driver condition 1988 Honda RC30 that will need some attention to become a nice, original, example.  The bike was originally imported into Canada and shows 3,671 kms (2,281mi), it has been in storage since 1999 and will need new tires, carbs cleaned and other associated maintenance for a bike that has sat for ten years.  The bike’s only physical damage are some scratches to the underside of the fairing.  The starting bid of $25,000 seems high compared to the RC30 in similar condition we posted recently that was a no-sale at $15k.

1999 Aprilia RS250 Cup

Located in Los Angeles, California is a good looking 1999 Aprilia RS250.  The description is very lacking, but, the Red Bull scheme is attractive.  Based on the photos and description, the asking price of $4,700 seems market correct.  If you’re in the market, have a look at the Craigslist ad here.

1991 Honda NSR250R MC21

Located in Pasadena, California is a very nice 1991 Honda NSR250R in Repsol Honda colors.  The description is sparse but it does state that this example is California titled and registered.  Regardless of the ad, this looks to be a very nice example, and with an asking price of $6,400, worth looking into.  See the Craigslist ad here.

1990 Honda VFR750R RC30

Located in Crestwood, Kentucky is an unoriginal, but, very cool looking 1990 Honda RC30.  This bike is a replica of Honda’s AMA Superbike, Smokin’ Joe’s race team.  This example shows only 10,181–street only–miles.  The seller states that the the bike was dropped but has been repaired correctly.  The asking price is $15,000; which is market correct for a RC30 but may be high for a non-original example.  See a different, but nice looking, RC30 on Craigslist here.

2000 Aprilia RS250

Located in Trenton, Michigan is a low mile (1,160), titled and registered, 200 Aprilia RS250.  The seller states that he converted the bike to be street legal, including the wiring harness and plastics–he does not mention if it carries a fifteen or seventeen digit VIN.  Seller states that the front calipers have been upgraded to units off of a Yamaha R1, Woodcraft rearsets, Ohlins forks, Ohlins rear shock and Lomas exhaust.  The seller also states that the tires have only been used on the street, but, they show some considerable heat–possibly take-offs, the bike has been on track, or the seller does run it that hard on the street.  The opening bid is $10,000 and already has one bidder.  See this very clean RS on eBay here.

1988 Yamaha FZR250R Genesis

Located in Toronto, California is a very nice example of a 1988 Yamaha FZR250R.  This example has 13,400km’s (8,326mi) and looks to be in beautiful condition with little worry from the four stroke motor.  The asking price is $2,890–assumed Canadian dollars.  Now, unfortunately, as close to the U.S. border this bike is, it still is going to be quite difficult to bring in legally. Shame.  See this very nice example on Craigslist here.

The same seller from Toronto also has a fantastic Yamaha FZR400R (no year mentioned) with only 10,900km’s (6,772mi’s).  The asking price is $3,150, again, assumed Canadian dollars.  See the very original, unmolested, bike in the rare blue/yellow scheme on Craigslist here.

1986 Suzuki RG500 Gamma

Located in Eugene, Oregon is a rare 1986 Suzuki RG500 Gamma with 18,750 miles.  This bike looks to be in good condition with possibly non-standard paint.  Recent service mentioned from a seven year owner, but, also mentions that the top end may be going and it also needs a battery.  This RG is priced at $12,500 which would seem to be market correct but the decals and, most importantly, the engine would need to be investigated.  See the Craigslist ad here.
