Mint 1988 YSR50 W/200 Miles and Title in Los Angeles
Oh, I can see you guys rolling your eyes right now. It might not be exotic like a Bimota or have the sex appeal of a Ducati but when was the last time you’ve seen an unmolested YSR? This bike is over 22 years old and only has 200 miles on it. The owner has kept up the registration on the bike and has the title in hand ready to sign over. These things rarely get the love a big bike does so I consider this a rare find.
From the seller:
Here I have my 88 ysr50. It is all original with only 200 original miles! I am only the second owner of this rare beautiful bike. It is a 5 speed that shifts smooth. The bike is in great condition for 22 year old bike. Mechanically it works 100%, just recently got it tuned up at my local bike dealer. Cosmetically it only has a small dotted dent on the gas tank. Tires are like new as you can see on the pics
As you would expect, the seller is asking a premium ($3,500) because of the bikes condition. If you don’t have $3,500 burning a hole in your pocket the seller states he may be interested in a trade. So the dream is not dead. You can still be the neighborhood Wayne Rainey. Check it out on Craigslist here.

Hey I was wondering if this bike was still available and if you have a clean title for it ?
Jay,
I did a quick search on Craigslist Los Angeles and did not find the bike listed. We just link to seller’s ads so unfortunately I don’t have his contact info. I’d keep your eyes open though I’ve seen quite a few nice YSR’s for sale lately.
I have a 89 blue on white with only 136 miles on it! I am the original owner and the bike had never been registered. I had it in my house as a decoration, I had start and run the engine and run it around the blocks occationally and always clean and back into the house for the next warm up. Its in perfect condition! Anyone interested? josephlinglee@gmail.com
I still have the bike…
