It’s either deja vu or we’ve see this one before. Last time it opened with a buy-it-now of $3650 and ended up selling after one relist for just under $3k. If it’s the same bike, and it has to be right?, it’s moved from New Jersey to Maryland. If you missed out the first time on this 500lb, 156hp brawler, looks like you have a second chance at this survivor.

More like 550 pounds wet, not 500- especially with stock exhaust. The 1993-1997 GSXR1100s are widely considered by most Gixxer guys as the absolute low point in their history. They’d quite lost the plot with that generation. This one does seem to be a real great example of a survivor, but who wants to re-live the experience?
From looking at ebay history for this bike, they are looking to get around $5k for it. It was listed twice previously at a buy it now of $4999. Nobody bought it. HMMMM. I guess they paid $3k for it and are looking for a nice little profit. What do these years go for? It is a nice low mileage bike!
Don’t forget it’s ugly too.
Nice bike, hell of an engine in a not so good frame…
I had a black/yellow/purple 1996 model also back in the day and commuted 80 miles round trip daily
for 3 years in Los Angeles traffic. It was an excellent bike for commuting. Gobs of power and good
handling for lot of trips over Angeles Crest highway.
I will have to say I loved this model of bike. With deep painful regret, it was stolen from me
in 1999 just a day after an epic solo ride down the coast to Carlsbad.
