2001 Ducati 748S – 8,620 miles

Highlights:

• Initially a biposto (2 seat) ; converted to monoposto (1 seat) using OEM mono cowl, rear subframe, and rear wiring harness.  Original biposto cowl is included
• Professionally repainted correct “giallo” yellow by Scott Moore, who regularly performs painting work for the Barber Motorsports Museum in Birmingham, AL.  Repaint was undertaken because the yellow body panels did not match each other perfectly from the factory (very common with yellow Ducatis from this era)
• Front and rear suspension fully rebuilt with upgraded internals by DucShop in Atlanta, GA.  Difference from stock is night and day.  Receipt available
• Enthusiast owned and respectfully enjoyed
• Non-ethanol fuel (only) used during my ownership
• Clean title in-hand

Non OEM Parts:

• Aftermarket carbon exhaust / mufflers.  NOTE: exhaust was not branded when I bought the bike.  I put Termi stickers on it to make it period-correct but am not sure who made it.  Appearance and quality is on par with Termi, however.
• Woodcraft rearsets
• Oberon clutch slave cylinder
• Carbon front fender
• Carbon chin guard
• Upgraded metal fuel quick disconnects under gas tank
• Fender eliminator

Service Items:

• All fluids replaced March 2023 (oil, clutch, F&R brake, coolant)
• Belts replaced approximately 3 years ago.  NOTE: recommend replacing belts within the next 2 years based on age, not mileage
• Valves adjusted by DucShop prior to my ownership at approximately 6,500 miles.  NOTE: I do not have receipt but have confirmed this verbally with Ducshop
• Fuel filter replaced March 2023
• New chain & sprockets (F&R) approximately 3 years ago
• New air filter March 2023
• New brake pads (F&R) March 2023

Other:

• With the exception of the suspension work, I do not have receipts for the service work mentioned above.  The valve adjustment occurred prior to my ownership and I have personally performed the fluid and belt changes
• This is an extremely nice, well cared-for example of a 20+ year old motorcycle.  I have represented it as accurately as possible here but it will continue to need servicing, parts replaced, etc over time just like any other vintage vehicle
• Would prefer to pass this beautiful bike on to someone who genuinely appreciates it and will continue to take care of it at the same level that I have
• Includes Pit Bull rear stand and small box of take-offs and other items (nothing of major value)
• Located in Mills River, NC (just a few miles from the Blue Ridge Parkway)
