1993 Suzuki RGV250 VJ22

Located in Grants Pass, Oregon is a titled and registered 1993 Suzuki RGV250 at a decent price.  This bike’s title is reconstructed, but, it still is titled and registered.  Seller states that it needs some work but it runs and drives in its current state.  Price is a pretty reasonable $2,000.  Don’t expect this one to be around very long.  See the Craigslist ad here.

Only 6 hours on the motor since being built. Requires 100 Octane Race Fuel with current domes but can be setup to run 92 Octane pump gas with included domes. Carbs will need new floats… I foolishly left the fuel petcock on when I went on a short vacation. The VP MR race fuel gummed up the carb bowls and floats. I have cleaned the throttle bodies extensively but will most likely have to replace the floats.

A very cool custom bike that appears to be at a very good price for the right person.  See the Craigslist ad here.

1989 Honda NSR250 MC18

Located in the San Francisco Bay Area is a 1989 Honda NSR250R that has been sitting.  Now, normally I wouldn’t post this bike, however, it is listed for only $1,500.  The bike is a Japanese import with no title and therefore not street legal.  The bike had a fresh top end in 2003 after the motor seized, but, has sitting ever since.  The bike currently runs and everything supposedly works on the bike.  Seller states that the bike needs some TLC and a good going through.  The bike comes with several spares.  As I said, I wouldn’t normally post this bike, but I feel that it is market correct at $1,500 and would make a great restoration project or track bike.  See the Bay Area Riders Forum thread here.

1987 Honda RS250

Located in Schaumberg, Illinois is a 1987 Honda RS250RF that was supposedly a Honda factory race bike.  The bike is stated as all original–and looks as such–with an extra set of cases, electronic box, cylinder, heads, sprockets, jetting, crankshaft assembly, owners manual and more.  This bike is supposedly 1 of 29 for 1987 with four for the factory and 25 privateer bikes.  A very cool vintage bike that needs some investigating!

Located in Knoxville, Tennessee is a very nice, but not perfect, 1994 Aprilia RS250.  This bike is a Loris Reggiani replica with 3,953 miles.  The bike is supposedly great except for some scratches to the windscreen and tail which is disappointing based on the rest of the bikes condition.  Tennessee titled and registered.
