Another RSBFS fan favorite is the early ZX7-R and this example looks very tidy. It has a few aftermarket add-on’s but is mostly complete. Considering it’s age and having covered 16k miles, it’s in remarkable shape. Hat tip to Adam for the spot!

1992 Kawasaki ZX7-R for sale on eBay
from the seller:
I am the 3rd owner and it only has just over 16k original miles. Everything on the bike is original with the exception of the aftermarket shock, rear sets and muzzy exhaust. All paint is original and in very GOOD condition. As you can tell from the pictures, it has a great shine. Everything on the bike is working. Brand new power 3, valve adjustment and other sevice items were completed last year. It is ready to enjoy and ride and it will obviously increase in value. As you probably know, it is very difficult to find ZX7-R with such low miles. It is in amazing condition for a 22 year old bike. I still ride this bike several times a month, so the mileage will change slightly.
Does anyone know how many of these were built in 91 and 92?
[…] on the heels of this very clean ZX7-R we find this striking ELR – the Superbike from a previous generation. If Nirvana-style […]
I believe 152 to North America, I may be listing my 7R soon …. this 7R however has the wrong lower right cowling, its been replaced, a good eye will notice it immediately if you are very familiar with an original cowling ……
Big Tex, are you referring to the missing hole above the K ?
Big Tex: good eye! Did you also noticed not sprayed swing arm….?
But oberall condtion of the bike looks to be very good.
I’m fairly certain this is my old bike I sold about 3 years ago. The motor is freshly rebuilt top end. I sold it with 2009 USD front end and included the stock front end as well, which he put back on. The Muzzy pipe, rearsets, and powdercoated swingarm, its my old bike. I kinda miss it. My neighbors do not miss it, that pipe has some bark!
Yep Hwood861, thats it. Does look like a nice bike. Jeff, I have the same bike with the same full muzzy system. Gnarly, probably the best sounding 4 stroke I have owned. I have had people jump when I hit it. These bikes will become quite valuable soon as the guys like myself who were 18 when it came out could not afford them. Now they can …… get the carbs dialed in and you are in for an experience. Above 5K RPM with a properly tuned bike is nutso …. the suspension is quite nice, and the seating position is racy but not horrific. There were many upgrades to these homologated bikes besides the usual ….
Stalled at $6950, which didn’t meet reserve. I think in a couple years that will sound ridiculously cheap.
