From the seller:
Owner is selling his prized Ducati collection bikes are individual or as group and seeking expressions of interest. This is for the serious collector as example 1974 SS 750 green frame all original and the best you will see. A 1974 MV Agusta 750 sport, 2002 996R, 2004 999R, 2000 748R, 1989 851 these are a few examples of what is on offer. This has a been a collection of many years and many dollars, all bikes are fully maintained and all are highly prized collectables.
If you are a Ducati fan ( who isn’t) and you understand this is not a tyre kicking exercise but a genuine collector selling his lifetimes passion for genuine reasons.
These are not cheap bikes the 74 Green Frame is worth at least $150k alone.Collectors are private people all enquiries will be through the advertiser and all buyers will be vetted as Part of due dilligence. Bikes have individual prices but obviously the owner would love for all othe bikes to be kept together in a serious collection.
If you want to surround yourself in your own Ducati dream and have the money and the passion, contact the advertiser. Seeking expressions of interest.
Here is my expression of interest: WANT!
The pictures do show that these bikes have been used, and it is possible that our collector was a track day enthusiast by the appearance of many of the bikes (what happened to the mirrors and the turn signals on the RC30?). It looks like the right buyer can purchase the entire collection or cherry pick individual bikes. Interested parties can view the advertisment here. This looks like a beautiful collection, and summer is a fantastic time to visit the wonderful land of Down Under. Good luck to the seller and all prospective buyers!

The 996R was only made in 2001.
All the fun of finding them is removed and replaced with the inconvenience of shipping from the other side of the planet.
I would do evil, evil things for that supermono……
A nice collection but $150k for a 74′ green frame?! If I had the dough, that supermono is a far more endangered species: exceedingly rare, exotic technology, and an exhilerating performer even by modern standards. I can only imagine how much the seller will ask.
Asto the RC30: I was under the impression only the USA imported models had the red tank logo and “RC30” printed on the tail?! Perhaps there were more than 300 of that varient built for the US market.
Only the USA model got “RC30” on the tail section and the red Honda wing as Michael stated, living in Australia we never got any RC30’s in this spec so I imagine this is an import from the US to Australia. All our RC30s were small headlight model but with full derestriction and no RC30 plaque on the frame and VFR750R on tail section.
Please note, that there were build about 4 700 units of RC30-VFR750R, yes 4 700. 1000 units just in the end of 87. (has small headlights, black mirrors, placquet on the left site of the frame). 300 units were imported to US 89/90. In 90 there were build units just only for US and UK. US had different VIN beginning JH2RC30….. Other world´s VIN begins RC30…. RC30 lettering is only on US models. Other whole world has VFR750R. It is strange, that there were build less Kawasaki ZX7R/ZXR750R K1,K2 and M1,M2 than RC30. Find good RC30 is more easy, than finding mint KAWA M1, or M2.
