1990 Honda RC30 VFR750R with only 13 miles to be auctioned Saturday, July 25th

1990 Honda RC30 VFR750R For Sale to the highest bidder

Location: Norwood, MA
Mileage: 13
Price: How much you got?

Not to be out done by my RSBFS.com Greenhorns I had to throw this one up on the main site as well as our FB page. I normally don't write up CL ads on the main site due to the lack of quality photos and crap descriptions, but this one is deserving of the spotlight.

1990 Honda RC30 showing only 13 miles will be sold for the highest offer on Saturday June 25 at 125 Lenox St, Norwood MA

Only 13 miles and the seller is saving himself a few bucks in fees by holding the auction himself. I can't say I really blame them, but RC30's on CL never cease to amaze me.

A couple of things that I am curious about is why in the world would you store a 13 mile bike uncovered in a dusty ass garage? This make me think this one may have a few bumps and bruises which will be a shame with only having 13 miles. Is it still sitting on the original hoops? Carbs drained?

As most of you've already noticed there are a few other collectables in the photo as well... hmmm...

If any of you guys make contact with the seller and want to share any info let me know so I can update this post.

See the other (dusty) photos here

Cheers!

Wolfpack: 1986 Suzuki Gamma 500 Walter Wolf Edition

For Sale: 1986 Suzuki Gamma 500 Walter Wolf

We at RSBFS see these Walter Wolf edition bikes on a semi-frequent basis. In fact, this particular bike was written up by Ian last May when it went on sale from the Solvang Motorcycle Museum near Santa Barbara, CA. Click here to read Ian's post. It looks like the bike sold in the final months of 2011; the price was never published, but the museum was asking $15,500 at the time. You can see the original museum ad HERE.

This bike is now back on the market in the Los Angeles area. If you missed your chance to purchase it from the Solvang Museum, this seller on Craigslist will happily offer it to you - at a $5k premium.

From the seller:
Have you been looking for one of these for the past 10 years? Well your lucky day is here!

Rare Walter Wolf Suzuki Gamma 500. Only 99 sold in Canada. All stock, clear CA title, 12,000 miles, runs great. clear title, new tires and battery, fully serviced

Purchased from a motorcycle museum collection. $20k obo

This bike has approximately 20,000 KM on the clock (that is 12,000 miles for the metric-challenged), and generally appears to be in good condition. There are not a lot of photos, but I'm sure you can contact the seller for more info if interested. This is a pretty high price for a Walter Wolf edition, but if you just HAVE to have the bike, you can find it on Craigslist by clicking on the link.

Canadian Special: 3 Limited Edition Ducatis

Check out this group of 3 late model Ducati superbikes for sale from the same seller. Heck, throw in a Hailwood & 888 SPO and you’ll have a sweet chronology of Ducati Superbikes. These bikes all appear to be in great condition, so let’s look at them individually.

The 998s Bostrom is especially unique in the lack of miles it has accumulated through the years. Although we have seen a fair amount of Bostrom replicas on RSBFS (here), few have matched the low miles on this example – less than 1,000 miles! Although I love this model and the low mileage on it, the price at $25,000 U.S. dollars seems very optimistic to me.

Ah the forgotten Ducati, the Fila 999R. Most Ducatisti will fondly remember the 916/996 series and most will also admire the handsome 1098/1198, but few cherish the 999. In some ways this bike never had a chance; following the 916 is no easy task. This bike is especially remarkable in that it is brand new – only 8KM! The price is virtually identical to the Bostrom, but this one is NEW.

On to the crown jewel of this trio – the 1098R Bayliss Replica. This bike is also brand new and nothing short of stunning. The Bayliss bike has been crippled from the get go by a weak economy, weak US dollar and aggressive pricing by Ducati. This convergence of factors led to an abundance of new or like new Bayliss bikes, similar to this one, selling way below MSRP right off the showroom floor.

I hope someone goes big and picks up all three.

Check out the listings with contact information below:

2004 Ducati 999R Fila

Really clean Yamaha RZ350 in Los Angeles

For Sale: 1984 Yamaha RZ350 Kenny Roberts Replica

With bikes like this up for grabs, Los Angeles is truly the City of Angels. This great looking RZ was spotted by a sharp RSBFS reader - and we jumped at the chance to post it. We come across many hot rodded bikes in our quest to post the best of the best, but few offer the complete package that this RZ represents.

From the seller:
1984 Yamaha RZ350 Kenny Roberts Replica Excellent condition, This bike gives you a huge premagrin as you go down the street.
I'm finally selling my very loved RZ350. This is one of the cleaner RZ's out there period.
The top end was rebuilt 1,500 miles ago. The crank was rebuilt by the guy I bought it from.
This bike is fast, very fast. 65 RWHP. Stage 3 Porting and rebuild done by Steve Turner (MBSteve), He's a So Cal 2-Stroke tuning legend.

Here's a list of mods done to the bike,
Stage 3 Porting, 34mm Mikuni Flatside carburetors, Billet aluminum intake manifolds,
Spec-2 expansion chambers, with M-Factory West Carbon Fiber Silencers by TZ-MIke,
New CDI rebuilt by RZ's Unlimited, Tarozzi Rear sets,
Penske Rear Racing shock-ajustable, Progressive front springs, Telefix fork brace
Spec-2 Telefix, Full Faring, Spec-2 Telefix Rear Tail section with custom seat,
Custom made cluster mount (doesn't move when you turn the handle bars)
Custom triple clamp, CRG Mirror (not on the bike) Steering Stabilizer, Custom Steel braided brake lines front & rear.........just to name a few

Many spares are included. I have all the OEM bodywork (except the upper faring) which is in excellent condition, Lower bikini, Tail section, Seat, Left & Right side panels.
1985 RZ350 cdi, quick throttle, stock carbs & much more
The bike is plated and registered.

Please email me at RZ350@me.com

From the pics on Craigslist, the bike appears to have approximately 20,000 miles on it. The seller is asking for $5,500 which is a bit high for an RZ, but potentially justifiable given the condition and modifications. I think this is one great looking bike. To check out the complete add and all the pictures, jump over to Craigslist here.

1994 Honda CBR900RR One Owner Bike With 5,985 Original Miles In Fantastic Condition

A one owner, less than 6k mile, iconic CBR900RR in California--sounds pretty good to me!

Bike: 1994 Honda CBR900RR

Miles: 5,985mi

Price: $4,000USD

Location: Concord, California

The seller uses all the good words to describe this bike:

THE BIKE ONE OWNER ALL ORIGINAL WITH LESS THAN 6,000 MILES ON IT. NEVER DOWN COSMETICALLY AND MECHANICALLY IS SUPERB. FOR ALL YOU HONDA LOVERS THIS IS A RARE FIND. THIS IS NOT YOUR AVERAGE BIKE, THIS IS LIKE KEPT IN A TIME CAPSULE BIKE...

What are the negatives about this bike? Well, if you're going to nit-pick, it's not a '93 and it's not Red/White/Blue--that's about it. Other than that, it looks pretty good, notice in the gauge cluster photo that the brake fluid looks pretty fresh, that's a nice touch. Some fresh tires look to be in the bike's future though.

Mostly anyone who is aware of sportbikes from the last twenty-years would describe the early CBR900RR's as desirable, and this bike isn't an exception in all of it's purple and yellow glory. Lastly, the asking price of $4,000 isn't outrageous for this bike at all (See the other CBR900RR's we've posted here), make sure to take a trailer with you when you go to look at it. See the bike on Craigslist here.

Canadian Classic – 1982 Yamaha RD 350LC

For Sale: 1982 Yamaha RD 350LC

If you are thinking that this is simply an RZ350 in funny colors, you must be a U.S.-based RSBFS reader. And you are both right and wrong. While Yamaha brought the two stroke fire back to America for only a few years, these bikes have thrived north of the border for much, much longer. And they were named after the bike the started it all - the Yamaha RD series, with the "LC" standing for "Liquid Cooling."

Note the lack of fairing. While all RZ350s that came stateside had the small quarter fairing, other markets made this optional. The bike featured today has the fairing, adding to its value.

The seller is claiming only 3626 KM (approximately 2250 miles) on the bike, and has an extensive paragraph in the ad outlining the condition. Because of the low miles, optional fairing and great condition, the asking price is $7,000 Canadian - which equates to just over $6,800 U.S. dollars. This seems high for what we typically see for U.S.-based RZs, plus you will still need to pay for the importation and licensing (the bike is located in Toronto). If any of you gray-market gurus know if this is expensive or difficult, please drop us a comment! To view the ad, read all of the seller's comments and view the pictures, click on the link.
