1988 Honda RC30 in Italy

Honda RC30 for sale

We've seen lots of investor quality, Italian motorcycles from this seller on RSBFS. This is the first Honda he's offered I believe, and the condition looks excellent in the photographs.

Have a good weekend all and looking forward to the comments on this one!

1992 Yamaha FZR600 Vance & Hines #419/635

This is a guest post from Jaron who is considering joining our team. Thanks Jaron! -dc

While most are not lusting over an FZ or FZR we can all agree on that 80s/early 90s vehicles values in general are skyrocketing. (I personally just picked up a trade tariff 1987 FZ700 for this reason.) Why not own one of Yamaha’s sport bikes that’s almost guaranteed to appreciate. The FZR600 was the roost of the 600’s until the revised FZR600R was released in 1994, although the FZR600 was produced from 1989 to 1999.

Through the 10 year production span, mostly paintwork and color schemes were the only real changes. A limited run of Vance & Hines were produced in 1992, 635 to be exact. The paintwork being the only differencing factor from the stock FZR600.

from the seller:

The bike is in really good shape and is a turn key motorcycle and is ready to ride . It has sat in somebody's collection for a while and all that was needed to get it to run was a new battery and the carbs to be cleaned. We also changed all the fluids in the bike and fitted new plugs. The bike runs like a dream and being number 419 out 635 ever made it is a very nice talking point too. the bike has 4377 miles on the clock and we asking $4500 OBO. We also have the original exhaust for it.

4377 Miles is the lowest I’ve ever seen on a Vance & Hines, most average 10,000 mile range. Big bonus in collectors eyes, OEM exhaust included! Being a dealer bike, one may be able to negotiate a true bargain for an early limited Japanese full fairing bike. I know I’m not the only person dreaming of this bike in their collection.

2000 MV Agusta F4 750 with Just 1,000 Miles

While the iconic Ducati 916 is the most celebrated Massimo Tamburini design, the F4 was also some of his best work of the period. This 2000 MV Agusta F4 750 has just 1,000 miles and is advertised as being displayed indoors most of it's life. With a $12k buy-it-now, the seller notes shipping is free for qualified buyers -- which I interpret as a full asking price purchase. There isn't much additional information about the bike for sale but at that price I hope it's recently serviced and ready to ride.

1995 Honda CBR600F3 Smokin Joes for sale

While not as exotic as many of the listings we usually display, this Smokin Joe's CBR600F3 is one of the best we've seen with just 4,500 miles. Seller states it has usually been stored inside and only the signals and muffler have been modified.

Have a good week all!

from the seller's listing:

Selling a first year collector Smoking Joe Edition Honda CBR600 F3. This bike is in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition. It has been stored inside for most of its life. Motorcycle is all stock with the exception of a removeable tank bra, turn signals and an aftermarket exhaust slip-on. Parts are still readily available for this motorcycle so if you are a collector, sourcing turn signals and the slip-on is no problem.

Not much more I can say about this motorcycle. This is the race replica paintjob after Miguel Duhamel won the AMA championship in 1995. This bike is sure to continue to rise in value over time as they have become quite rare.

Please feel free to email me with any questions you may have about this motorcycle. I am selling off 4 or 5 of my collector Honda models so have a look at my other auctions.

This motorcycle is located in Bradenton, FL.

As Seen on CSBFS: 1982 Suzuki RGB500 Mk7 XR40!

1982 Suzuki RGB500 for sale

This gorgeous Suzuki RGB500 is for sale in California and Tad wrote it up on our sister site, Classic SportBikes For Sale. Here is an excerpt:

Ridden by such luminaries as Barry Sheene and Randy Mamola, the two-stroke Suzuki RGB500 was eventually developed into the dominant machine you see here, but it went through a significant evolution following its introduction in 1974. As you’d expect, the bike always had power to spare, but high speed handling was suspect at first.

By the time the 1982 bike rolled around, Suzuki had moved to a “square” 54mm x 54mm engine for a grand total of 495cc. It was far more reliable than previous iterations and featured the same stepped cylinders seen on the RG500 Gamma road bike that had the rear pair of cylinders raised up slightly higher than the front pair. With a dry weight of 292lbs and 120hp, the bike could reach speeds of up to 170mph, which is pretty terrifying considering the tire technology of the time.

This is not a street bike folks, this is the real deal, A real factory Suzuki GP road race bike... This bike has the stepped square 4 motor with magnesium crankcases, magnesium carburetors, and dry clutch... The Chassis is loaded with magnesium, Titanium and Aluminum, stuff you would expect to find on a factory race bike... First year of "Full Floater" monoshock suspension... Chassis number 42 motor number 49... Bike is in unrestored, excellent condition, just as it rolled off the race track in 1982... This bike from part of the team Heron Suzuki stable, bike has been museum store in Japan since last raced... these bikes are tad more rare than a TZ750 and much more powerful... It is the perfect bike to dominate vintage racing and is eligible for the "classic TT" in Phillips island This is a rare opportunity to own a real factory GP bike, don't let it slip by, you'll be sorry if you do...
